Overview
SoulBridge is a web application that helps users convert playlists between Spotify and YouTube. This Privacy Policy explains what information SoulBridge collects, how it is used, and how users can request deletion of their data.
Information we collect
When you connect your Google/YouTube account, SoulBridge may access:
- Your Google account identifier, display name, email address, and profile picture.
- Your YouTube playlists and playlist items that you choose to convert.
- Permission to create playlists and add videos to playlists on your behalf.
When you connect Spotify, SoulBridge may access:
- Your Spotify account identifier, display name, email address, and profile image.
- Your Spotify playlists and tracks that you choose to convert.
- Permission to create playlists and add tracks to playlists on your behalf.
SoulBridge also stores conversion history, match candidates, selected matches, conversion status, and basic operational logs needed to run the service.
How we use information
SoulBridge uses connected account data only to:
- Show your playlists inside SoulBridge.
- Match songs or videos between Spotify and YouTube.
- Create destination playlists after you confirm a conversion.
- Show conversion progress, review results, and conversion history.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot the application.
Google API Services disclosure
SoulBridge's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
SoulBridge does not sell Google user data, does not use Google user data for advertising, and does not use Google user data to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Google user data is used only to provide user-facing playlist conversion features: reading selected YouTube playlists, matching playlist items with Spotify tracks, and creating or updating destination playlists when you request it.
OAuth tokens and security
SoulBridge never asks for your Google, YouTube, or Spotify password. Authentication is handled through OAuth. Access and refresh tokens are encrypted before storage and are used only to perform actions that you authorize in the application.
SoulBridge does not expose OAuth tokens in API responses, client-side code, logs, or public pages.
Sharing information
SoulBridge does not sell personal information. Data is shared only with the platform APIs required to provide the playlist conversion feature, such as Google/YouTube APIs and Spotify APIs, or when required by law.
Data retention and deletion
SoulBridge keeps connected account records, encrypted OAuth tokens, playlist conversion history, and match data for as long as needed to provide the service. You may request data deletion or account disconnection at any time by contacting:
You can also revoke Google access from your Google Account permissions page and revoke Spotify access from your Spotify account settings.
After a deletion request is received, SoulBridge will delete connected account records, encrypted OAuth tokens, and stored conversion history associated with the requesting user unless retention is required for security, abuse prevention, or legal reasons.
Children's privacy
SoulBridge is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
